If you’ve noticed talk about a “new” Charmin Ultra Strong with wider sheets, it’s normal to wonder what that means for the roll you already buy and love—especially if you’re seeing different packages online or in-store.

Here’s the simple answer:

Charmin Ultra Strong's wider-sheet innovation is the next evolution of Charmin Ultra Strong, and it's intended to replace the current version as retailers transition to the updated product.

What “replacing” means (and what you may see in stores)

When a product updates, it usually doesn’t change overnight everywhere at once. As retailers move through their inventory and bring in the updated roll, you may see:

• The current Charmin Ultra Strong in some places

• The new Charmin Ultra Strong Wider Sheets in others

• Sometimes both during the transition

This is expected, and it simply reflects how stores and online retailers update their stock over time.
